Alec has been making pots since 2014 here in Southsea, where he has lived for over 40 years.
He has a strong affinity with clay vessels and considers himself in the tradition of making pots to be used, not just for decoration. All his work is influenced by Asian ceramics, especially that of China, Korea and Japan.
He makes kitchen vessels mainly in stoneware clays. His work has bold and simple lines and is designed to be held, dispalyed and shared. Each piece is unique and is hand thrown and fired by Alec.
