Support our Mission to Free Portsmouth from Plastic

This summer join the resistance against pointless plastic packaging and help us fund Portsmouth’s first community-owned Plastic Free Supermarket.

The tide is turning and we are no longer willing to accept unnecessary packaging and single-use plastic as an inevitable fact of shopping for our groceries. Change needs to happen.

We have three goals...

Create a Zero Waste Supermarket

where people can buy package free dry goods in bulk, cleaning products and toiletries. Alongside fresh produce via a box collection scheme from local suppliers.

Champion and Support

the ending of household waste going to landfill and incinerators in Portsmouth by 2025.

Change Attitudes and Reliance

on single-use plastic everywhere, in recognition of the consequences on our beautiful planet and the responsibility we all have to care for it.
